Discover Cinema through a New Generation of International Filmmakers<\/h4>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Atlanta has become the new world capital of film production, from blockbusters to independent films. Atlanta French Film Festival promotes French-speaking cinema through the French Film Award in the city of Atlanta, Georgia by screening short films from a new generation of French, Canadian, African filmmakers\u2026 Atlanta French Film Festival opens the dialogue between worlds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The idea of this festival is to create bridges between this film industry and new talents. Conferences, seminars and professional meetings energize the festival between screenings.
The screenings will take place in April 2025 at the famous independent cinema, the Tara Theater. Youth film workshops, professional meetings and podcast sessions open to the public will take place in partnership with the Alliance fran\u00e7aise d\u2019Atlanta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the traditional prizes (Best Narrative, Animation, Documentary, Director, Actor\u2026 see list on our site below), special prizes are awarded:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Best Children Film Award: presented by the French-speaking children of Atlanta during a workshop at the Alliance fran\u00e7aise of Atlanta<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Best Green Film Award: film with the theme of the environment, climate change, Nature <\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Best LGBTQ+ Film award: in the conservative state of Georgia, the city of Atlanta has one of the largest queer communities in the USA. The prize is presented by the editor-in-chief of the queer magazine WUSSY!

Films from all around the world are welcome !<\/strong> In French-Speaking Language with English subtitles. It can be with mix languages (please contact us for more info).
